Toronto police responded to a shooting call in the Jane Street and Wilson Avenue area on May 9th at around 8:34pm. Police have identified the victim as Calvin Andre Scott, 32, of Toronto.
Police said a vehicle was carjacked by the involved suspect that fled through a parking lot near Sheridan mall. This vehicle is described as 2022 Toyota Corolla, black in colour, with Ontario license plate CVZW 153. If located, do no approach, call 9-1-1.
Update:
On September 20, 2022, Nashon Marshall, 28, of Toronto was arrested and charged with:
- Second Degree Murder
- Robbery While Armed with a Firearm
He has also been charged with outstanding warrants from prior investigations.
