Winnipeg police investigate the homicide of Diego Moscoza a Mexican citizen

On March 17, 2025, at around 10:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police responded to a call about a suspicious incident in the 300 block of Pritchard Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a man who had died outside.

An autopsy confirmed that the man’s death was a result of homicide. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Diego Moscoza (Moscoza Jimenez), a Mexican national who had been living in Manitoba for the past two years.

The Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, and his next of kin has been informed. Authorities are seeking to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Moscoza since the start of March 2025.
