The Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here

On March 17, 2025, at around 10:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police responded to a call about a suspicious incident in the 300 block of Pritchard Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a man who had died outside.

An autopsy confirmed that the man’s death was a result of homicide. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Diego Moscoza (Moscoza Jimenez), a Mexican national who had been living in Manitoba for the past two years.

The Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, and his next of kin has been informed. Authorities are seeking to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Moscoza since the start of March 2025.

Update: The Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit continued its investigation and identified two individuals believed to be responsible for the death of Moscoza.

On December 15, 2025, police attended the Headingley Correctional Centre and the Women’s Correctional Centre, where they carried out arrest warrants for second-degree murder. The suspects, 26-year-old Taylor Gilbert Linklater and 27-year-old Noreen Ceara Remona Thomas, were taken into custody and remain detained.

Two days later, on December 17, 2025, investigators executed another arrest warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Powers Street. A 25-year-old woman, Devlin Langlois, was arrested and charged as an accessory after the fact to murder. She also remains in custody.
