The 2023 Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here

Winnipeg Police Service responded to a shooting incident in the 500 block of Bannatyne Avenue on November 12th at approximately 8:40 p.m.

On arrival police located an injured male youth in stable condition and an adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.

The deceased has been identified as Pharrell ASARE, 20-years-old of Brampton, Ontario.

 A 15-year-old male has been charged with the following:

– Manslaughter

– Causing Death by Criminal Negligence

– Discharge a Restricted Firearm or Prohibited Firearm with Intent

– Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
