The 2026 Toronto Homicide Victim List is available here

A 17-year-old Toronto boy has been identified as the city’s 24th homicide victim of 2026 following a shooting in the Jane Street and Finch Avenue West area.

Toronto police responded to a reported shooting at approximately 3:34 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026.

According to police, officers arrived at the scene and located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency life-saving measures were performed before paramedics transported the victim to hospital in an emergency run.

The victim was pronounced deceased in hospital a short time later.

Police have identified the victim as Cashie Auguste, 17, of Toronto.

The investigation remains ongoing. The shooting marks Toronto’s 24th homicide of 2026.
