Quebec 2026 Homicide Victim List

Quebec provincial police are investigating a fatal shooting at a restaurant in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, southwest of Montreal.

The Sûreté du Québec was called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. on September 4th, after reports of a shooting. A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later died.

Police say the suspect or suspects left the area following the shooting. No arrests have been reported.

The homicide investigation is being led by the Sûreté du Québec’s crimes-against-persons unit.
