Burlington Ontario 2026 Homicide Victim List

Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) are investigating the death of an adult woman who was found inside an apartment at 3020 Glencrest Road on Thursday morning.

Police were called to the residence at approximately 6:30 a.m. on September 10, 2026, to conduct a wellness check on a female occupant. When officers arrived, they discovered the woman deceased inside the apartment. No other individuals were found at the residence.

Investigators identified a male suspect in his 40s who had reportedly left the apartment before police arrived. As the investigation progressed, officers determined that the suspect had travelled toward the Niagara Falls area.

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) was notified, and officers located and arrested the suspect at approximately 7:45 a.m.

Police say the deceased woman and the suspect were known to one another. At this time, HRPS does not believe there are any additional suspects involved.

Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
