The 2023 Quebec Homicide Victim List is available here

Quebec Provincial Police were dispatched to a home on Principale Street in Saint-Anne-de-la-Rochelle, on November 12th, at around 9 p.m.

On arrival police and paramedics located an unresponsive woman. She was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Her cause of death and identity have not been released.

Police arrested a man in his 30’s at the scene. The relationship between the victim and suspect is unknown at this time.

 Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Audrey-Ann Bilodeau said he will likely face a murder charge.
