Update John Di Pinto arrested: Toronto Homicide 59 – John Di Pinto, 55, of Toronto, is wanted for the murder of his sister Rose Di Pinto

Toronto police responded to a medical complaint call at 18 Stanmills Road on September 4th at approximately 6:13pm.

On arrival the victim, Rose Di Pinto, 60, of Toronto, was located deceased at the bottom of a flight of stairs. An autopsy was conducted on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, and revealed the manner of death to be a homicide.

The victim’s brother, John Di Pinto, 55, of Toronto, is wanted on a warrant in the first instance for Second Degree Murder.

Update September 23rd 2021
Toronto police arrested John Di Pinto, 55, on September at 9:00pm and charged him with Second Degree murder. He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 10 a.m., in room number 206.
