Toronto Police Service responded to a report of a shooting in the Keele Street and Finch Avenue West area on July 5th.

It has been reported that 47-year-old Jason Cockburn was involved in a verbal altercation inside a bar. He then left the bar and was followed by a man who shot him and fled the area.

Cockburn was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on July 18th.

Update October 8th
Angel Ramirez Casanova, 22, of Woodbridge, and Yanique Ellison, 34, of Brampton were arrested on October 6th and charged with first-degree murder.
