Toronto Homicide #38 – Robert Cada wanted for second-degree murder after he deliberately struck a pedestrian with a pick-up truck

Toronto Police Service responded to fail to remain fatal collision at 11 Polson Street on July 19th at approximately 9:08pm.

Police have reported that an argument had occurred leading to a man getting into a pick-up truck and deliberately striking a pedestrian. Despite lifesaving efforts from paramedics, the victim was pronounced at the scene. Police have identified the victim as Jamil Nazarali, 25, of Uxbridge.

Toronto Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Robert Cada, 32, of Toronto, on the charges of:

1. Second Degree Murder
2. Attempted Murder

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and white shoes. The vehicle believed to be involved in this incident has been recovered. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7400, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS

On Wednesday, July 21st, Robert Cada, 32, of Toronto, surrendered to police. He is charged with:

1. Second Degree Murder
2. Attempted Murder
