OPP responded to the report of a disturbance in Dinorwic on November 5th.
Emergency responders arrived to find Richard McLeod suffering from serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police said his death is being investigated as a homicide.
OPP further responded to a residential fire on a neighboring property where human remains were found in the damaged structure. No other information is available at this time.

Update February 8th, 2021
The Office of the Chief Coroner identified human remains as 48-year-old Daniel Lethbridge.
