The 2025 Ontario Homicide Victim List is available here

On Monday, March 24, 2025, around 3:40 a.m., uniformed officers from 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) responded to reports of gunshots near Carlton Street and Athlone Place in St. Catharines.

Upon arrival, they found an adult male with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.

Investigators are seeking dashcam footage or any witnesses who may have seen or heard anything suspicious during that time.
