The New Brunswick RCMP Major Crime Unit is investigating the death of a 57-year-old man in Shenstone, N.B., after police deemed the circumstances suspicious.

Police were called to a residence on Route 910 shortly after 7:30 p.m. on August 4, 2026, following a report of a sudden death. Members of the Caledonia Region RCMP detachment attended the property and found the man deceased inside the residence.

The Major Crime Unit has since taken over the investigation and is treating the death as suspicious.
