Edmonton police responded to the report of a weapons complaint in the area of 105 Street and 111 Avenue on May 1st at approximately 11:20am.

Harley Norman, 31, was located suffering from a serious injury and was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. The cause of death was a single stab wound.

On May 2nd City of Edmonton Transit Peace Officers located the suspect Laura Blowers, 28, in the area of 106 Avenue and 95 Street after recognizing her from the incident that occurred on May 1, 2022. Blowers was arrested by Edmonton police, and charged with second-degree murder.
