Calgary police responded to reports of a disturbance in the 7700 block of 41st Avenue N.W. on September 12th at approximately 3:25 a.m. 

Officers located Sean Michael Barber, 54, who appeared to be suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Two men were taken into custody at the scene. It is now believed one of the men was a witness and was not involved in the altercation.

As a result of the investigation Dennis George HART, 52, of Calgary, has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the incident.
