Winnipeg police responded to the 500 block of Magnus Avenue for a report of an individual armed with weapons on April 8th at at 6:17 p.m.

Police located an adult male suspect outside a residence and took him into custody. A deceased adult male was found inside the house soon after. The victim has been identified as Franklin Aaron Tobacco, 31, of Winnipeg. His cause of death has not been released.

David Allan Morrisseau, a 29-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with Second Degree Murder.
