Winnipeg Police Service was contacted regarding an adult male brought into hospital with a gunshot wound on April 12th at approximately 4:00am.

Despite life saving efforts Brandon David Thomas RICHARD, 28, of St. Norbert, dies of his injuries.

Winnipeg Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation and the scene, located in the 1600 block of Burrows Avenue. Police believed RICHARD was shot during the early morning hours prior to being dropped off at the hospital.

Update May 24th
On May 20th Winnipeg police arrested Mario NIPPI (23), and Fransisco FLETT (23), of Winnipeg, charged them with First Degree Murder, and detained them in custody.
