Calgary Police are once again asking the public for help in the 2021 disappearance of David-Alexandre Beliveau, whose case is now being treated as a homicide.

Human remains recently discovered have been confirmed to be those of the 40-year-old man, who was last seen in the Shaganappi area on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, around 4 p.m.

Police say Beliveau’s family is still seeking answers, and they believe members of the community may have information that could help bring them closure.

At the time he went missing, Beliveau was about 5’7” tall and weighed roughly 185 pounds, with a medium build, green eyes, a shaved head, and a brown beard. He had several distinctive tattoos: three monkeys on his back; a lion on his right bicep; dice on his left hand; a smiley face on his right hand; the word “MOTIVATION” on the inside of his left forearm; the number “7” on his left calf; a “Z” on his right elbow; and a map of Quebec with a marker on Montreal across his ribs.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a white logo, a medium-blue golf shirt, and dark-blue shorts.
