50-year-old man charged with second-degree murder in connection to the homicide of a Guelph woman

Guelph Police said a man entered a Guelph police station, suffering from obvious injuries, on August 19th at approximately 8:00am.

Based on the information given by the man they attended an apartment unit near Waterloo Avenue and Edinburgh Road South where they found a female deceased.

Police said the victim and accused were known to each other and there is no threat to public safety.

Police have arrested and charged a 50-year-old man with second-degree murder.
