The 2021 Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here

Winnipeg police responded to the 500 block of Elgin Avenue for a report of an injured male that had been found in a residential building on May 28th at approximately 8:24pm.

Police located Logan Harold Flett, 29, unresponsive, and began to perform emergency first aid. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

WPD arrested Russell John Adam Flett, 32, and charged him with:
– Manslaughter
– Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Investigators said the victim and accused were brothers and were involved in a physical altercation that escalated to a stabbing.
