The Pas RCMP responded to a serious stabbing incident in the 300 block of Edwards Avenue. Two people were severely injured on January 19th at approximately 3:50 pm.

On arrival police located two injured people. 41-year-old Eugene Michelle succumbed to injuries. The second victim, a 37-year-old male, remains in stable condition in Winnipeg hospital.

A 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old female. The male is charged with Second Degree Murder in the death of Eugene Michelle. The female is charged with Manslaughter. Both remain in custody.

On January 21st RCMP announced they arrested Pierre Young, 33, without incident at a residence in Easterville. He remains in custody on a charge of Manslaughter.
