The 2025 BC Homicide Victim List is available here

On January 30, 2025, around 4:50 AM, Langley RCMP were called about a fire at an encampment on the 19700-block of Highway 1. When they arrived, they found one person deceased.

The Langley RCMP are currently collaborating with the Township of Langley Fire Department and the BC Coroners Service.

“We are in the very early stages of this investigation and actively working to determine the full circumstance that led to this fatality,” says Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. 

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been deployed to assist with the investigation. Updates will be provided as they become available.
