Hamilton, Ontario 2026 Homicide Victim List
Hamilton police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 191 Main Street West, marking the city’s second homicide in the past week.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire and, upon arrival, located a male victim with critical injuries. He was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Talon Williams-Parkin.
Investigators believe an exchange of gunfire occurred inside a unit within the building. During the incident, the victim was struck, and evidence suggests the suspect may also have been injured.
With the investigation still in its early stages, police are asking residents and businesses in the area of Main Street and Caroline Street to check their CCTV or security camera footage for any suspicious activity around the time of the incident.
Police have identified two suspects in connection with this incident. Those suspects are described as follows:
- Suspect 1: Male, black, short, with long dreads and a fat face.
- Suspect 2: Male, black, tall, thin, with dreads, and wearing a blue face mask.
Hamilton police say a firearm has been recovered from the scene of a shooting.
