The 2023 Saskatoon Homicide Victim List is available here

Saskatoon police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of St. Paul’s Place after it was reported a woman appeared to be injured inside on August 29th at 10:20pm.

On arrival police located 33-year-old Melissa Bear. She was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries. Police have not released the cause of death at this time.

Update
On September 8th, following a brief foot pursuit with police, Members of the Major Crime Section located, arrested and charged 33-year-old Cary Daniel Bluebell with second-degree murder.
