Loon Lake RCMP were called to home on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, on February 1st where they located Dedrick Stick,32, suffering from injuries.

Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. Investigators said Stick was injured during an altercation involving a group of people at another address and managed to escape to a nearby home.

Update: RCMP Major Crimes have arrested Samuel Kiseyinewakup, 22, on March 9 while in custody at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre on other offences and charged with second-degree murder.
