Rocky Mountain House RCMP responded to assist EMS with a report of an unconscious male on the O’Chiese First Nation on Sept. 30, 2022, at approximately 5 a.m.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. An autopsy was conducted at the Calgary Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Oct. 2, 2022, and the death has been deemed a homicide.

No other information has been released at this time, and the investigation is ongoing. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
