The 2023 Alberta Homicide Victim List is available here

Stoney Nakota RCMP were called to a home on the First Nation on Sept. 8th around 7 a.m for reports of a disturbance.

On arrival police located a deceased 55-year-old man. On October 3rd, police announced that the autopsy was completed on September 11th and the medical examiner determined the man did not die from natural causes. 

RCMP Major Crimes has taken over the investigation.
