Phil and co-host and producer Tami in this episode go over the homicides in Canada that occurred in October 2024. We run through the statistics at the start, including how October this year compares to October 2023, stats on the method of homicide, sex of the victims, the oldest and youngest victims and how many homicides occurred in each province and territory. Homicide rates for 2024 for municipalities and provinces are also discussed, including which cities and provinces have the highest homicide rates in 2024 and also which provinces have diverged from their 2023 homicide rates. We also discuss some of the more noteworthy murders that occurred in October along with some updates on previous homicides.
