Brantford Police were called to the report of a stabbing in the area of Cayuga Street around 9:30 a.m on October 22nd.

On arrival police located a male victim suffering from a stab wound. H was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

As a result of the investigation Nicholas Craig, 20, was arrested after a tip from a citizen. He is facing a charge of second-degree-murder. Police said the victim and accused were known to each other.
