Emmanuel Calaguas charged with the murder of 67-year-old Chung Hung Victor Lee in Markham

York Regional Police were called to an auto service shop on Green Lane near Bayview Avenue in Markham, on October 22, 2022, at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Police arrived to find Chung Hung Victor Lee, 67, of Toronto, unresponsive. Lee was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators announced on October 24th that Emmanuel CALAGUAS, 23, of the City of Markham, had been arrested and charged with

First Degree Murder
Theft of Motor Vehicle Over $5,000

Police are asking anyone with information to please come forward, including witnesses that have not yet spoken with police or anyone with video surveillance or dashcam footage in the area at the time.
