The 2023 Brampton Homicide Victim List is available here

Peel Regional Police received a 9-1-1 call for medical assistance at Sparrow Park in Brampton on May 19th at approximately 6:00am.

Peel Police, Brampton Fire and Peel Paramedics arrived at the scene and located Davinder Kaur, a 43-year-old woman, suffering from serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, Kaur succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Police have not released the cause of death, however, her family says she was fatally stabbed.

A gofundme has been created to help the family pay for a funeral

44-year-old Nav Nishan SINGH from Brampton, who is said to be the victim’s husband, was arrested a short distance from the scene. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
