Moncton Man, Zachary Pollock, Dies Following Serious Injuries, Death Investigated as Homicide

Codiac Regional RCMP officers responded to a report of a seriously injured man on St. George Street in Moncton at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Aug. 26, 2026.

When police arrived, they found 34-year-old Zachary Pollock in a parking lot suffering from critical injuries. Officers and emergency responders performed life-saving measures before Pollock was transported to hospital. He later died from his injuries.

The New Brunswick RCMP Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation and is treating Pollock’s death as a homicide.

A member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office is assisting investigators. An autopsy is also scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
