The Ottawa Homicide Victim List is available here

The Ottawa Police announced that Marc Lebrun-Fortin from Ottawa, initially assaulted a man at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre on February 6th.

The victim, identified as 40-year-old Amr Zohair, later passed away from his injuries on February 9th.

Originally charged with aggravated assault, Lebrun-Fortin now faces a charge of first-degree murder. He appeared in court today and has been remanded into custody.
