London Police responded to the area of Southdale Road East and Millbank Drive concerning a disturbance on June 21, 2024 at approximately 10:00 p.m.

On arrival, police located a male with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital by paramedic services, where he was pronounced deceased. The deceased has been identified as Abdul Hashim, 18.

Two 17-year-old males, both of London, who cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have been jointly charged with second-degree murder.

Both remain in custody with upcoming court dates.
