OPP were called to a residence on Hurontario Street where they discovered a deceased male inside the home on January 14th at approximately 8:20 am. Police have not said why they were called to the home but reports have said they entered the home with the use of a battering ram.

Police said the deceased, Donald Caines, 57, was the victim of a homicide, however, the cause of death has not been released. According to the Toronto Star Moments after the police arrived, a man wearing only a T-shirt and briefs ran out from the back of the building, and was chased by an officer into the Giant Tiger parking lot.

Lawrence Caines was arrested with use of a Taser and charged with first-degree murder. Police have not released the relationship between the two men.
