A second person has died from their injuries – Justin Desautels charged after fatal Dryden Ontario Arbourjade trailer park attack

Dryden Police Service, and OPP were called to the Arbourjade trailer park on March 2nd on the report of an assault in progress.

Police arrived to find 2 injured people. On March 3rd a third victim was located in the trailer park with injuries and was rushed to the hospital. At approximately 7:30 a.m., two more victims were found in a residence in the trailer park, one was pronounced deceased.

Justin Desautels, 36, of Dryden was arrested and charged with:

  • Second degree murder
  • Assaulting police
  • Resisting arrest
  • Assaulting a police officer causing bodily harm
  • Two counts of breaking, entering and committing robbery
  • Attempting to disarm a police officer
  • Attempted murder
  • Drug possession

Justin Desautels has been charged with a second count of second-degree murder after Dorothy Brown, 72, died from injuries on March 25th.
