Update: Edmonton have arrested Brandon Letendre in relation to the homicide of Elijah Cleaver, 32

Edmonton police responded to a disturbance call at a multi-unit residence in the area of 102 Avenue and 158 Street on August 26th at approximately 8 a.m.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Elijah Cleaver, 32, suffering from serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, Cleaver was pronounced at the scene. An autopsy was completed and revealed the cause of death to be a stabbing.

As a result of the investigation, police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Brandon Letendre, 38, who is wanted for second-degree murder in relation to Cleaver’s death.

Letendre is described as 6’0” tall and weighs approximately 220 lbs. A photo of Letendre is included below. 

Letendre is considered armed and dangerous, and citizens who encounter him are advised to not approach him and immediately contact police by calling 911.

Update September 14th
Brandon Letendre, 38, who was wanted for second-degree murder in relation to the death of Elijah Cleaver, 32, was arrested by West Branch officers in the evening on September 12th and remains in custody at this time.
