RCMP responded to a report of a deceased man on January 16th at approximately 9:00am.

Police said they located the body of the deceased 24-year-old man on Lagoon Road, just north of Hay River. Investigators said the victim sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.

As a result of the investigation N.W.T. RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Riley Jordan Moyah, 23. Police believe Moyah (pictured) is somewhere in Alberta.

Police said Moyah should not approach him, but should notify the Hay River detachment with their information by calling 867-874-1111.

Update January 23rd:
Riley Jordan Moyah was arrested on January 22nd in Alberta after a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued.
