The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit has arrested and charged a 14-year-old boy in connection with the death of Peyton Flett.

Police said the youth was arrested on September 24, 2026, and is facing a charge of second-degree murder. He is scheduled to make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday, September 25.

The Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Flett’s death, including her disappearance. Peyton Flett, 14, was reported missing on June 30. Her body was discovered on August 13 in a wooded area of Prince Albert, near the 300 block of 40th Street East.
