Laval, Quebec 2026 Homicide Victim List

Laval police responded to a residential building on Jean-Béraud Avenue, at approximately 12:30 p.m. on September 29th.

Police arrived to find the victim, 77-year-old Monique Thibault Poirier, deceased, and her spouse, Ronald Thibault, 78, was at the scene and was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The cause of death has not been released

Ronald Thibault has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with her death. Authorities believe the killing took place sometime between September 27 and September 29.
