Update Brenon Gray has been arrested for first degree murder in relation to the homicide of Romeo Flett in Cadotte Lake First Nation

Peace River RCMP responded to a 911 report of a male who had been shot inside a residence on Cadotte Lake First Nation on July 26th, at approximately 9:30pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Romeo Flett, 35, suffering from serious injuries. He was flown by Air Ambulance to an Edmonton hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police are searching for Brenon Gray, 31, who is wanted for first-degree murder. Gray is described as:

· 185 lbs and 5’4

· Brown eyes

· Brown hair

Update September 9th
Despite efforts, RCMP have been unable to locate Brenon Blake Gray, of Cadotte Lake First Nation, who is wanted for first-degree murder. It is believed Gray may be in the Peace River area. Police have released an updated wanted poster.

If you know the whereabouts of Brenon Gray, please contact Peace River RCMP at 780-624-6677 or your local police. If you see Gray, DO NOT APPROACH HIM and call 911 as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Update September 28th
Brenon Gray was located in the community of Little Buffalo, Alta. He was taken into police custody on September 26th without incident with the assistance of the Western Alberta District RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, Alberta RCMP Emergency Response Team, Police Dog Service, Air Services, Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit and the Peace Regional RCMP
