The 2022 Edmonton Homicide Victim List is available here

Edmonton police responded to the report of a male in a building stairwell in the area of 110 Avenue and 84 Street on July 31st just before 4:00am.

The victim, 38-year-old Christopher McMullen was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. His cause of death has not been released at this time.

On Jul. 31, 2022, Joslyn Batoche, 41, was arrested and charged with manslaughter.

The death of McMullen is the city’s 19th homicide of the year.
