Athabasca RCMP and EMS were called to a residence on the east end on the report of an unresponsive woman on March 22nd at approximately 3:55am.

On arrival police located 23-year-old Kelsey Thunder deceased. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

RCMP arrested 26-year-old Wyatt Thunder of Athabasca on March 22nd and charged his with Second Degree Murder. RCMP will not be releasing any additional information as the case is before the courts.
