Manitoba 2026 Homicide Victim List

On the morning of July 18, 2026, at around 9:30 a.m., RCMP in God’s Lake Narrows responded to reports of a possible stabbing in the community.

When officers arrived at the residence where the incident was believed to have taken place, they learned the victim had already been transported to the local nursing station.

Police said the victim, a 38-year-old man, had sustained serious stab wounds and was being prepared for transfer to a hospital in Thompson for further medical treatment. Despite efforts to save him, he later died from his injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing, with the God’s Lake Narrows RCMP working alongside the RCMP Major Crime Services and the Forensic Identification Section.

Authorities say there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
