Durham Region police said a male attended Central West Division in Whitby to speak with officers on November 4, 2023 at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Police then attended a home on Kressman Court, where they located Latonya Anderson, 34, not breathing. Despite lifesaving efforts, Anderson was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A gofundme has been created to help her family with unexpected costs.

Police arrested Troy Moulton, age 33 of Whitby and charged him with Second Degree Murder.
