Montreal police said an 80-year-old man was attacked at approximately 5:30pm October 10th  on Hope Ave.

The victim died of upper body injuries on November 9th. A 41-year-old man is facing a murder charge.

Police have not released the identities of the victim, suspect or the cause of death.
