The 2023 Manitoba Homicide Victim List is available here

Powerview RCMP responded to an assault at a residence located on Tipi Road, on Sagkeeng First Nation on March 16th, at approximately 3:45 pm.

Police arrived to find a 42-year-old male from Sagkeeng First Nation deceased at the scene. Police have not released the victim’s identity or cause of death at this time.

A  38-year-old male from Sagkeeng First Nation, was arrested on scene and remains in police custody.
