Two men charged with the murder of Joel A. Cameron in London Ontario’s 1st homicide of the year

London Police Service Major Crime Section are investigating a sudden death that took place in the 600-Block of Kipps Lane March 11 at approximately 5:00am.

Upon arrival, the man was located Joel A. Cameron, 41, with serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased shortly after.

Throughout the day, police negotiated with a barricaded man, who was believed to be in possession of a firearm inside of an apartment building located at 621 Kipps Lane. Two London police were seriously injured at approximately 7:30pm. The officers were rushed to the hospital in serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

At 8:30pm Adrian Neil Campbell, 42, of London, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Second degree murder; and
  • Two (2) counts of attempted murder.

The accused did not sustain any physical injuries. The firearm was recovered at the scene.

Update March 14th:
As a result of the investigation, Devon Ferguson-Feit, 28, of London, was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
