The 2023 Montreal Homicide Victim List is available here

Montreal police responded to an apartment building in Montreal’s Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough, on March 17th at approximately 9:00am.

On arrival, police located Mylène Gingras, 75, Francine Gingras-Boucher 53, and Richard Galarneau, 53, deceased at the scene. Police said the victims were stabbed to death.

The accused 19-year-old, Arthur Galarneau, was arrested outside the apartment, covered in blood. Galarneau has been charged with second-degree murder.
