Halton police are appealing for information from the public about missing woman Irma Galastica.

On August 30, 2024, Irma Galastica left her home in Toronto with a friend and travelled to downtown Hamilton.

In the early hours of August 31, she visited an after-hours nightclub called Sankofa Lounge, which was located at 92 Jackson Street East but has since closed.

Around 4:45 a.m., Irma left the club with a group of people and used a rideshare service to go to a home at 629 Old York Road in Burlington.

She was last seen at that address later in the afternoon on August 31, 2024.

Irma was reported missing in Toronto on September 13, 2024.

On September 20, Toronto Police contacted Halton Regional Police, asking them to check the Old York Road property. During their search, officers discovered a clandestine drug lab on the premises. Despite a thorough search of the area, Irma was not found.

On September 24, the Halton Regional Police Major Crime Unit took over the investigation into her disappearance.

On April 24, 2026, the Halton Police Board has approved a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the disappearance of Irma Galastica, or credible details confirming her current location.

Family and police are concerned for Irma’s well-being, and Investigators hope the reward will motivate witnesses to come forward with new investigative leads, ultimately leading to Irma’s location.
